When the two were eventually combined, the resulting flavor—floral, tart, and refreshing—became a hit among the islanders. Whether or not the legend can be believed, the tart combination of hibiscus and pomegranate is undeniably a winner. Based on a Sencha-style green tea, this blend captures the flavorful harmony, offering a sweet, bright infusion with hints of honey, berries, and herbs, balanced by the grassy notes of the green leaves.
